On Wednesday evening of September 29th, the Alaska Airmen’s Association hosted the first of what they hope to be many NextGen events partnering with local aviation businesses to offer young people unique and exciting opportunities to be exposed to the industry and possible careers. Regal Air generously sponsored flights in two of their DeHavilland Beaver aircraft as the main attraction. The skies were clear and the day was warm- perfect weather for the attendees to enjoy their flights and pizza outside socializing with other kids and young adults interested in careers in aviation. The event was free for NextGen members ($25 annually) and open to all interested in pursuing any type of aviation career or certification.
